Withlacoochee Chapter SAR Installs New Officers
The Withlacoochee Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution installed new officers at the January 2018 meeting of the Chapter. The installation ceremonies were conducted by David Bussone, SAR North Central Regional Vice President. Officers of the Chapter are elected by the membership to serve for each calendar year. Long-time Florida Family Member Inducted in SAR Chapter
The Withlacoochee Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution inducted a member of a long-time Florida family at the January Chapter meeting. President Larry Sturgeon introduced the new Compatriot, Leander Rabun Battle, of Dade City, to the attending membership and conducted the induction ceremony. Nephew Clark Battle pinned the SAR Rosette to the left lapel of Compatriot Battle.
