2016 School Awards &Presentations
1 November 2016 - Floral City Elementary School received a Historical Presentation of Flags. This was presented to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. 85 Students and 7 teachers and aides attended SAR Compatroit Russ Gibson was the coorindator with 1Lt. Arnold Vessey, UDMC (Ret) in attendance.

2 November 2016 - Citrus Springs Middle School received a Historical Presentation of Flags. This was presented to 5 6th grade classes. 89 Students attended with teacher, David Goddard. SAR Compatroit Russ Gibson was the coorindator with 1Lt. Arnold Vessey, UDMC (Ret) in attendance.

7 November 2016 - Crystal River Middle School received a Historical Presentation of Flags. This was presented to Ms Britton's 6th grade classes. 95 Students attended from 6 classes. SAR Compatroit Russ Gibson was the coorindator with 1Lt. Arnold Vessey, UDMC (Ret) in attendance.

10 November 2016 - Citrus Springs Middle School received a Historical Presentation of Flags, Veterans in the classroom. This was presented to 329 students, Shelley Lashley and 3 other U S Hidtory teachers. SAR Compatroit Russ Gibson was the coorindator with 1Lt. Arnold Vessey, UDMC (Ret) in attendance.

May 20, 2016, AT CENTRAL RIDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, CITRUS SPRINGS, FL, SAR Good Citizenship Certificates were presented To 6 very special student graduating from 5th grade by Compatriot Edward Gingrich.
