New Compatriot Member Inducted in Withlacoochee Chapter SAR
The Withlacoochee Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution inducted a new member at the February Chapter meeting. President David Hitchcock introduced the new Compatriot, John Attanasio, of Hernando, FL, to the attending membership and conducted the induction ceremony. Nancy Verrill pinned the SAR Rosette to the left lapel of Compatriot Attanasio. Attanasio’s patriot ancestor was Johannes Hennion of New Jersey.

Col. James Rogers - Certificate of Appreciation
Col. James Rogers loaned his vehicle and was a driver in the Veteran's Day Parade in November 2019. Col. James Rogers was presented the Certificate of Appreciation for is contribution. Withlacoochee Chapter President David Hitchcock and Chapter Treasurer Richard Bailey made the presentation.

SAR Speaker Brian Barrett
During the February General Meeting, Brian Barrett was the Guest Speaker. His talk was on his new book Wooster's Invisible Enemies. The book is about the Connecticut Provincials 1st Connecticut Regiment commanded by General David Wooster in 1775. Withlacoochee Chapter President David Hitchcock presented Brian Barrett with a Certificate of Appreciation for his presentation.
