Homosassa Walmart Recognized for Generosity to Veterans Home
Compatriot members of the Withlacoochee Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution recently presented the Homosassa store with a plaque recognizing the generous contribution that the store and its employees have made with gifts at Christmas time to those veterans without family at the Baldomero Lopez State Veterans Nursing Home in Land O’ Lakes, FL. This store has cooperated with the Withlacoochee chapter every year beginning in 2008. Accepting the plaque for Walmart was Suzanne Green, Personel Manager and Ed Shaw, Store Manager. SAR compatriots presenting the award were William Teater, Ronald Powell and Norman Freyer.
