Mike & Linda Swithart Relate Experiences with Hart Rescue
Speakers at the December General Meeting of the Withlacoochee Chapter of the SAR were Mike and Linda Swithart of Hart Rescue. HART RESCUE is a support ministry for America's Emergency Responders, Military Service Members, and their families. Mike and Linda travel with their motorhome throughout the U.S. in support of their mission. In 2015, they have attended events/visits in Indiana, Colorado, Virginia, Wash. D.C., Florida, Tennessee, Georgia and Wyoming. Hart Rescue Team members have served in the US military, some as military policemen, civilian police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians. One of the team members is the wife of a retired police officer and a retired soldier, who was also a firefighter and EMT in his "spare time". Another is the son of a career deputy sheriff. All team members are committed Christians, and they are all survivors of personal struggles, who realized at some point that their survival was beyond their own individual capabilities. The combined decades of experience of the HART RESCUE team cover many of the situations you might encounter in your career, and some you probably won't. They are willing to "share their pain" to help you survive yours.
