Our SAR Florida State President, Steve Williams, was our special guest speaker for the October 11, 2014 General Meeting. This was a very unique opportunity for the Withlacoochee Chapter, Chapter President Ed Gingrich and its members to have the State President attend our ceremony.
Partial agenda was: Color Guard - Change of Command Induction - Richard Trout Supplemental's - Star and Certificate
The Withlacoochee Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution was recently honored with a visit by Florida State SAR President Steven Williams. Williams praised Chapter members for exhibiting leadership in many of the key SAR projects and activities. Among those members welcoming State President Williams were (L to R) Richard Lawrence Sumner II, Color Guard Commander; Jack Townsend, Treasurer; Clyde Elza Johnson 1st Vice President; Thomas Timings Holme Jr.; Robert James Folk Sr., Registrar; Steven Williams, FLSSAR President; Edward Ralph Gingrich, Chapter President; Larry Dean Sturgeon, Secretary and Harley Benjamin Abijah Nelson.
