Board of Management Meeting (B.O.M.) The NE Region Chapters are the Host Chapters for the 2014 Winter B.O.M. Meeting. The Florida Society SAR will hold its Winter Board of Management Meeting (B.O.M.) at THE FLORIDA HOTEL AND CONFERENCE CENTER at the Florida Mall, 1500 SAND LAKE ROAD, ORLANDO, FL 32809 on January 24th & 25th 2014. Color Guard Commander Richard L. Sumner discussed the upcoming Color Guard Event for The Last Battle of the American Revolution held in Merritt Island, Florida on March 8, 2014.
Wreaths Across America scheduled for December 14, 2013 at the Florida National Cemetery.
Past President William Teater discussed the upcoming Veterans Day Parade on November 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Discussed the number of cars for each Veteran who served during WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War. Banners and displays that will be used on each vehicle and Color Guard participation. Baldomero Lopez State Veterans Home visit in December for our Veterans Without Families.
