SAR Recognition Plaque Awarded to Homosassa Walmart Store Employees
The Withlacoochee Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, recently awarded a plaque to employees of the Homosassa Walmart store, in recognition of providing individual Christmas gifts and other services to veterans who are without known relatives at the Baldomero Lopez Veterans Nursing Home in Land O’ Lakes, FL. Each year, Withlacoochee Chapter members, and employees of the Homosassa Walmart, join to provide personal care items, clothing, books, musical CD’s and players, selected sweets, etc. Compatriot Ron Powell presented the award plaque which was accepted on behalf of all store employees by Walmart Store manager Ed Shaw and Suzanne Green.
