We have a new SAR Florida Historical Marker being Dedicated on March 21, 2015. It will Commemorate the Revolutionary War, Battlefield of the Thomas Creek Battle.

L - R: Standing Ray Wess, President General Brock and Compatriot Alexander W. Dreyfoos Jr of Palm Beach Chapter. President General, Lindsey Brock, presented Compatriot Alexander Dreyfoos Jr. with the SAR Gold Good Citizenship medal for all his public giving and many accomplishments. [Dreyfoos was granted 10 US patents. In 1970, his invention Video Color Negative Analyzer for motion picture was the recipient of an Academy Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
In January 2006 The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars of the Smithsonian Institution presented Mr. Dreyfoos the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship. In May 2006 the Kellogg School of Science and Technology of The Scripps Research Institute bestowed an Honorary Doctor of Science Degree on Dreyfoos. Dreyfoos spends much of his time these days aboard his unique SWATH yacht Silver Cloud, designed and built by Abeking & Rasmussen in Lemwerder, Germany.] Check him out on google.
